Wild Rift: Better than Mobile Legends?

League of Legends: Wild Rift

Mobile games have been the rising stars for the past few years, and Riot made sure not to skip on the hype by providing one of the most awaited mobile games this year: League of Legends: Wild Rift.

League of Legends: Wild Rift

Currently on open beta, more and more people are getting the chance to experience wild rift and the promise it provides. Of course, like any game, it’s encountered issues with the market, mainly the players of Mobile Legends. In earlier testing dates, the game has received flak from a Youtuber saying that it was complicated, and that people should just stick to ML. Although some people agreed, there was still a number of people who thought that his comments were unnecessary and was bringing down one game to uplift another. There are also many circumstances of gatekeeping from the PC LoL players, saying that MLBB players should just stay in ML since they won’t be any good.

Honestly, I think that both Wild Rift and Mobile Legends have their own unique points when it comes to tackling MOBA games, and both should be enjoyed and not hated on. Features may vary per game, but it’s just the evolution of developers finding more efficient ways for mobile players to enjoy the game.

All in all, I wouldn’t say that Wild Rift is better than ML. It could be, but what’s the point of pitting two games against each other when we could all just enjoy and get along. Gamers are gamers through and through – no matter what game they play.

Among Us: Quarantine helped its sudden boom?

Among Us

The success of the Game Devs at Innersloth definitely didn’t arrive overnight.

Among Us

Since it’s release in mobile and PC last June 2018, Among us has only gotten the recognition it deserves this year 2020. Why? The power of internet.

Social Media is a devastatingly amazing tool to create, promote and cancel. It only took one funny post for Among Us to trend worldwide, and I guess the success, in a way, did arrive overnight – just 2 years later. With the excitement it’s gotten over the past few months, the devs definitely didn’t waste any time in announcing that a sequel is coming, riling up more people with new strategies, roles and maps.

Being a multiplayer game in the current worldly situation became a stepping stone – as harsh as it may seem – for them to increase in popularity as majority of the world is cooped up in their homes without being able to interact with their friends; Among Us just also happened to be the perfect mix of subtle violence and sharp thinking.

We’re definitely expecting amazing things from the devs for the sequel, and we hope that this time, it won’t take 2 years for people to appreciate their hard work.

Genshin Impact: Why it’s so good?

Genshin Impact

Gacha games have been a rising star in the gaming community for a while now, and the latest game released by miHoYo has definitely raised the bar.

Released during the end of September 2020, Genshin Impact has already made rounds in the gaming community for it’s stunning graphics, amazing gameplay and it’s incredible open world system. The characters of Genshin Impact have been so well-rounded that the story revolving them is highly anticipated – although we do get distracted by those anemonculuses – to the point that people strive to get the characters.

Although being slammed with criticisms for their gacha drop rates, it’s no question that Genshin Impact is definitely one of the games to play this year. Involving a co-op mode has been an absolute win since most of us in quarantine want to spend more time with our friends, and now we can do that while exploring Liyue and Monstadt.

If you’re looking for a game with a story while leaving you independent in what you want to do, this is it. Bask in a breathtaking world with side quests, or rush those main quests to experience an absolutely amazing storyline. Either way, Genshin Impact will definitely have you grinding those Primogems for hours on end – and you’ll enjoy every minute of it.
