League of Legends: Wild Rift
Mobile games have been the rising stars for the past few years, and Riot made sure not to skip on the hype by providing one of the most awaited mobile games this year: League of Legends: Wild Rift.
Currently on open beta, more and more people are getting the chance to experience wild rift and the promise it provides. Of course, like any game, it’s encountered issues with the market, mainly the players of Mobile Legends. In earlier testing dates, the game has received flak from a Youtuber saying that it was complicated, and that people should just stick to ML. Although some people agreed, there was still a number of people who thought that his comments were unnecessary and was bringing down one game to uplift another. There are also many circumstances of gatekeeping from the PC LoL players, saying that MLBB players should just stay in ML since they won’t be any good.
Honestly, I think that both Wild Rift and Mobile Legends have their own unique points when it comes to tackling MOBA games, and both should be enjoyed and not hated on. Features may vary per game, but it’s just the evolution of developers finding more efficient ways for mobile players to enjoy the game.
All in all, I wouldn’t say that Wild Rift is better than ML. It could be, but what’s the point of pitting two games against each other when we could all just enjoy and get along. Gamers are gamers through and through – no matter what game they play.
